Who they are
Wright Choice Homes is the trading name of Queensland Country Cabins Pty Ltd, a family-owned transportable home builder with a depot at Caboolture, registered in 2022. It holds a QBCC Builder Low Rise licence and builds, delivers and installs its own homes. Buyers can walk through homes at the depot by booking.
What they make
Transportable Class 1a homes built whole at the depot, from the 44.94 m² one-bedroom Bribie 45 to four-bedroom homes over 115 m² such as the Mission and Toorbul. Several sit in the granny flat size range, including the Moreton (51.2 m²) and Fraser 60.
What the price covers
No prices are shown on the design pages. The base price includes the home, transport and installation on steel posts and concrete footings within 100 km of Caboolture. Approvals at about $10,000 to $14,000, service connections and site preparation are extra.
Installing one in Queensland
Wright Choice trucks the finished home on a hydraulic house trailer, which it says often avoids a crane, and installs it on galvanised RHS posts under its own QBCC licence. You arrange building approval through a certifier and licensed plumbing and electrical connections, and it can refer consultants.
Who it suits
Buyers north of Brisbane who want a finished transportable home from one licensed builder that also installs it.
