Who they are
Westbuilt Homes is a family modular builder founded in Warwick in 1993 by Jim Westerman, now run by his sons with David Westerman as Managing Director. The company is Active Construction Group Pty Ltd, QBCC Builder Open licence 1284758, with NSW licence 266388C. It has display homes at Warwick and Loganholme.
What they make
Full-size custom modular homes, not granny flats: the smallest design is about 108 m² including verandah, and the range runs past 400 m². Homes use light gauge steel frames and are about 80% finished in the Warwick factory. Ranges include Acreage, Rural, Seaside and Signature.
What the price covers
The homepage shows the Bangalow 124 from $392,000; the full price guide is behind a form. Building and plumbing approvals and transport within 200 km of Warwick are included. The site gives three different answers on whether service connections are in the price.
Installing one in Queensland
Westbuilt builds in Warwick, trucks the modules to site, places them by axle system or crane, and completes connections, carports and the final inspection with its own team. It holds the QBCC licence for the whole job. Development approval, if your block needs one, is extra.
Who it suits
Queensland and northern NSW buyers, especially on acreage and rural blocks, who want a full-size home from one licensed builder.
