Who they are
Havenwood Tiny Homes is a family business that started building tiny homes in a backyard in 2020 and now builds at a factory in Albion Park Rail on the NSW South Coast. It has a display village at 373 Princes Highway, Oak Flats. The company's ABN dates from November 2020.
What they make
Tiny homes on registered aluminium tri-axle trailers from 5.2 m to 11 m long and 2.4 m or 3 m wide, with dual-loft, ground-floor bedroom and two-bedroom layouts. Walls are 75 mm refrigeration panel with Colorbond cladding and roof. Larger models can be built to Class 1A as permanent homes through a custom design path.
What the price covers
Every standard model has a published price, trailer included, from $79,500 to $213,000. Delivery to Queensland is extra at $4.40 per km each way from the NSW factory. Registration, site works, connections and crane hire are excluded.
Installing one in Queensland
A standard home is towed to site and parked on its trailer, then connected to power, water and waste by local trades. Placed on a block as a permanent dwelling, it needs a building approval, so the Class 1A path matters, and a QBCC licensed builder or owner builder does the on-site work. Havenwood does not install or name a Queensland builder.
Who it suits
Buyers wanting a tiny home on wheels with published prices, including families after dual lofts plus a ground-floor bedroom.
Worth checking
No warranty terms are published, so get them in writing. Ask your council whether a home on wheels can be lived in full time on your block, or price the Class 1A option.
