Who they are
Every Day Tiny Homes is run by Campbell McLean Pty Ltd from Caravonica in Cairns, with outlets in other states and a Brisbane contact. The company's ABN dates from 2021; it traded as Same Day Granny Flats before registering the Every Day Tiny Homes name in 2025. Homes are made by overseas partners to its designs.
What they make
Three relocatable units, the 13.5 square metre Huon pod and two 37 square metre expanding units, plus The Lodge, a 60 square metre two-bedroom kit home. The pods use a galvanised steel frame with composite panels. The Lodge is cyclone rated, clad in fibre cement and sold as Class 1a.
What the price covers
Published prices run from $26,500 to $99,500 including GST. Pod prices exclude a trailer, delivery and installation. The Lodge is a flat-pack kit: its price excludes the container, freight, approvals, earthworks, connections and the builder.
Installing one in Queensland
The pods are delivered for the buyer to place and connect; on a trailer an expander may be classed as a caravan. The Lodge must be built by a licensed builder the buyer engages, who signs as the builder, with approval through a certifier. The company holds no QBCC licence.
Who it suits
Buyers after a low-cost studio or guest room they can move later, or an owner with a builder lined up for The Lodge kit.
Worth checking
The structural warranty is 12 months. The Lodge's installed cost will sit well above its kit price once freight, slab, connections and a builder are added. The SEQ display village is listed as opening soon.
