Who they are
6Homes is a Melbourne company, 6HOMES PTY LTD, with a display showroom at 878 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill. Its ABN dates from September 2019. It says it has delivered homes in Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania.
What they make
Ten fixed-specification modular designs from a 20 m² one-bedroom studio to a 120 m² four-bedroom home. Every design carries the same standard specification, including double-glazed windows and doors and energy-efficient insulation. Frame and cladding materials are not published.
What the price covers
No prices are published; the price list is behind an enquiry form. The company describes a fixed price per design and a turnkey service from permits to handover, but does not list what is included or excluded.
Installing one in Queensland
6Homes says it delivers each home and its own team installs it, and shows a home craned into place at Lockyer Valley. No QBCC licence was found for the company and no Queensland licensed builder is named, so it is not clear who signs as builder or holds the QBCC home warranty insurance for a Queensland job.
Who it suits
Victorian buyers wanting a finished modular home from one fixed specification.
Worth checking
6Homes does not publish where its factory is or what warranty it gives. Ask for both, and for the Queensland licensed builder who signs for the install.
